I recently stayed at Avenue and had a wonderful time. From the great kitchens to the privacy in the dorms, everything was top-notch. The bathrooms were especially clean and the location was perfect - close to trams, metro, and walking distance to all the main attractions. It felt more like a hotel than a hostel!
I do recommend this hotel.

The dorm rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with big shelves for storage. The 8-bed dorm I stayed in even had its own shower, which was a great convenience. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering useful information about the city and always ready to assist. The breakfast provided was modest but sufficient, with tasty toasts and a nice coffee. The location of the hostel was absolutely fantastic, just a couple hundred steps away from all the main attractions. It was easy to navigate and explore the city from this central spot.
The cleanliness of the bathrooms and toilets left much to be desired. They were often dirty and lacked basic items like soap and hooks.

I got amazing value for my money at Avenue Hostel. The room was clean and well organized, and the staff were super nice and helpful. The location was great, with easy access to all the tourist spots.
The morning meal could have been better if there were more options available.

The hostel is in a great location, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was a great way to start the day. The beds were comfortable and each had a privacy curtain, power outlet, and reading light.
The shared bathrooms were often dirty and there were long queues to use them. It was also inconvenient that the bathrooms were outside of the dormitory and required a key card for access.
